βš•οΈ Safety FAQ

Does Blac & Pink sell medicine or treat medical conditions?

No. Blac & Pink is a beauty and wellness retail store. We do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. We do not sell prescription medication. For BP, diabetes, uric acid, allergies, prescription-medication interactions, sexual wellness, pregnancy, or lactation β€” please consult your doctor before starting any new product.

Can I take supplements if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

Always consult your doctor before starting any supplement during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. We do not recommend supplements for these conditions over the counter. Iron, folate, calcium, and DHA are commonly prescribed during pregnancy but only by your obstetrician.

I have diabetes. Can I use the products you sell?

Skincare and haircare products are generally safe for people with diabetes. Supplements that affect blood sugar (chromium, cinnamon, fenugreek, bitter melon) should only be taken under your doctor's guidance β€” they can interact with your diabetes medication. Sugar-free claims do not mean carb-free.

Can supplements interact with my prescription medication?

Yes. Several supplements (St. John's Wort, ginkgo, garlic extract, fish oil, green tea extract, vitamin K, calcium, magnesium, iron) can interact with prescription medication including blood thinners, anti-depressants, BP medication and thyroid medication. Always check with your pharmacist or doctor before starting a new supplement.

How do I test if I'm allergic to a new skincare product?

Do a 24-hour patch test on the inside of your forearm before applying anywhere on your face. Apply a pea-sized amount, leave it on. If you see redness, itching, swelling, or hives within 24 hours, do not use the product. Avoid all products containing the ingredient that triggered the reaction.

Can children use the products you sell?

Children's skin and bodies are not small adults. Adult skincare, anti-aging products, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, and most supplements are not appropriate for children. Children's multivitamins, children's calcium, children's DHA exist as separate formulations β€” ask your pediatrician before starting any supplement for a child.
